Bella Wines are wines produced for Bella Traders Pty Ltd. Bella Traders Pty Ltd was established in 2003 by three ladies, Cristina, Stavroula and Tania all of whom are beautiful, hence the name Bella Traders (Italian translation for Bella is beautiful) was chosen. The goal of the three beauties was to create a portfolio of wines that were easy drinking, relaxed and not overly complicated.

With the aid of growers from various Australian regions, as well as guidance from a couple of winemakers, the ladies realised their goal with the production of Bella Rosa Rose’ and Bella Bianca “The Alexia”. Both wines are consistent with the wine drinking philosophies of the ladies and have proved to be to the liking of many others as well.

In September 2004 the ladies released the Bella Estate Gordo Alicante Bouchet – “Bella Estilo”. This wine immediately had an impact in the market place with consumers excited by its sophisticated yet uncomplicated nature. The Alicante grape is extremely rare in Australia and is one of the only grapes to produce red juice from its flesh. The ladies are excited about being able to produce a wine with this grape variety and are delighted with the finished product.

In 2008 the ladies extended the portfolio with 3 Sparkling Wines which were launched at the Royal Adelaide Show. The Sparkling Misciato (Elegance), Sparkling Pink (Bella Rosa) and Sparkling Red (Brilliante) also proved to be hits, with all of them fitting into the wine drinking philosophies of the ladies.
The ladies continue to look for exciting new products and welcome any feedback with regards to their wine portfolio, whether it be positive or constructive criticism. The ladies insist that with wine there should be no rules, just drink, eat, relax and enjoy.
